Quality and certifications

As a result of the increasing spread of diseases inherent to the agri-food world, to food itself and to its preparation, in recent years there has been a need to produce specific articles for cleaning in the food sector and in all professional areas where hygiene is a priority.

The food cleaning tools of the Hygiene and Detectable range are manufactured in compliance with:

• The European Framework Regulation (EC) 1935/2004, on materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs
• Regulation (EC) 2023/2006, on good manufacturing practice for materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs
• Regulation (EC) 10/2011 on the control and use of plastic materials
• FDA (US Food and Drug Administration), with reference to CFR 21, on the list of chemicals permitted for use in the food industry, and the Food Code, 1995.

All IGEAX products are supplied with the relevant Declaration of Conformity, as specified in the above-mentioned Regulations.

The same Regulations are encapsulated within the standards defined by the FEIBP (European Federation of the Brush Industry).

FEIBP PHB

The PHB Chart (Professional Hygiene Brushware) is granted by FEIBP (Federation of European Brush Manufacturers) which certifies the company as complying with market requirements. All manufacturers that display the FEIBP PHB mark have passed all the conditions specified in a 'Charter', which lists all European standards and regulations regarding a product for the food industry. This way, anyone can recognize the company as reliable and professional. The PHB card is granted to companies operating in the European field, and is updated at each change of regulation on food products.

ISO 9001

ISO:9001 is defined as the international standard specifying the requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organizations use the standard to demonstrate their ability to consistently deliver products and services that meet customer requirements. The quality system of Aricasa includes controls such as traccibility of articles, fiber sealing, compliance of incoming and outgoing products with the technical data sheets, proper maintenance of machinery, a complete double check on orders in shipment and in reception, and many other controls both generic and specific.
